Online Safety at St Marys C of E Primary School
Online safety is an important part of keeping children safe at St Mary's C of E Primary School . We have developed security measures in school, which are monitored both internally and externally, to help safeguard pupils from potential dangers or unsuitable material. Any online safety incidents are recorded and managed in accordance with our online safety policy.
Our computing and digital literacy curriculum develops all pupils understanding of how to stay safe and behave appropriately online.
We can only be successful in keeping children safe online if we work with parents to ensure the online safety messages are consistent. It is important that parents speak to their children about how they can keep safe and behave appropriately online.
Please see our online safety resources on the school website for further information to enhance or support your understanding of online safety.
Please note that no search engine is ever 100% safe but there are some safer search engines for children.
