Remote learning during lockdown

Currently the country is in lockdown again and schools are closed to most pupils.  At St. Marys, teachers are continuing to deliver the curriculum remotely using TEAMs.  All children have their own login so they can access our personalised curriculum on a daily basis.  Learning consists of a mixture of personalised recorded lessons created by our teachers and lessons produced and recommended by the government.  From Y1 onwards, children also benefit from talking to their teacher and class mates in a weekly TEAMs meeting. The government expects that EYFS and KS1 children should be working for 3 hours each day and KS2 children for 4 hours.  We check daily to see if you child is accessing the work and feel we have a duty of care to contact you if they haven't.   If you have any questions about our remote learning, please contact your child's class teacher. Please also keep us informed of any barriers to your child's learning so that we can best support you and your child during this difficult time.
