Welcome to Mrs. Griffiths' Eyfs and Year 1 class!

 Dear Parents and Carers,

I am delighted to welcome you and your child to an exciting new school year in our Preschool, Reception and Year 1 class. My name is Mrs. Griffiths, and I will be your child's class teacher this year. I am thrilled to work with such young and enthusiastic minds, guiding them through their early years of education.

I would also like to introduce our fantastic support staff who play an integral role in our classroom. Miss Morse and Miss Lana are here to provide support and assistance to all our students. Miss Lana specifically provides one-on-one support in the mornings, ensuring that every child's individual needs are met. Additionally, we have Mrs. Allen and Miss Davis, our dedicated staff who focus on our preschool children, ensuring they have a smooth transition into formal education.

In our classroom, we believe in the power of collaboration between families and teachers. We value the unique perspectives, insights, and experiences each family brings. Together, we can create an optimal learning environment for your child.

In our class, we strive to provide the best educational experiences for our students. We understand the importance of a well-rounded education, which is why we offer a variety of extracurricular experiences. These activities will enhance your child's learning and promote their holistic development. From arts and crafts to music and sports, there will be something for every child's interest.

We also have a strong ethos of outdoor learning in our class. Research has shown that outdoor experiences have numerous benefits for children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development. We will actively incorporate outdoor activities into our curriculum to provide enriching experiences and enhance your child's learning in nature.

We are excited about the upcoming year and the incredible journey we will embark upon together. Your child's learning, growth, and happiness are our utmost priorities. We look forward to building a strong and nurturing relationship with you and your child, fostering a sense of belonging, and creating a welcoming space for all.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Let's work together to make this a memorable and successful year for your child!

 Warm regards,

Mrs. Griffiths and the EYFS and Year 1 Team
